Chester Parkrun - Sat 16 March 2024 @ 09:00
The Running Romans are doing Chester Parkrun!
We will be completing the 5k run at Countess of Chester Country Park (postcode CH2 1UL) and then heading from there into Chester City Centre.
A second meeting point will be the Eastgate at 1:00pm.
Chester was originally settled by the Romans in the first century AD and called Fortress Diva, after the River Dee upon which it stands.
Come along and join us!
Chester City Centre - Sun 17 March 2024 @11:30
The Running Romans will be assembling at Chester's Roman Amphitheatre at 11:30 on Sunday 17 March and then running around the city, hopefully stopping at a number of Roman locations in the city, including:
- the Roman Gardens;
- The Newgate;
- Goddess Minerva's Shrine;
- the Ancient Roman columns (Northgate Street); and
- Deva Roman experience.
We hope to see you there!
Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire
The Running Romans are next planning to take on Droitwich Spa, so if you are in that area and would like to join in, get in touch!
